The Fischer RCS Carbonlite Skating Hole Skate ski is for performance and race skiers. This top of the line skate ski is the lightest on the market, weighing just 980 grams. The Plus model is the most popular model of the Fischer skate ski, and is designed for average snow temperatures above 28 degrees F (-2 degrees C) and for older snow and more humid snow conditions. Unique to this ski is the hole at the tip, which reduces tip weight by about 5 grams. Thus less energy is needed for each stride, resulting a smoother flow, higher return frequencies and overall less effort. The reduced weight may just shave off those few seconds needed to get the metal in the race, or just getting a bit longer ski in for the day.
Fischer's leading Computer Flex Control technology finds the perfect matching ski based upon position of the wax pocket, tension and camber, to make a well balanced pair. The Fischer skate skis are pre-waxed at the factory, reducing base prep time and getting you on the trails that much sooner!
This Fischer ski comes with a NIS plate, which is compatible with any NNN boot and binding. The NIS plate allows for a solid interface between the ski and binding resulting in greater stability and control. The binding can be adjusted to five different positions for different skier preference and snow conditions.
